"I was born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine. I graduated with a Fine Arts Diploma from Shevchenko State Art School. I discovered a love for metalwork and jewelry making back home in Ukraine where I learn metalsmithing.
Trained as a silversmith in Kiev, Ukraine. I design and handcraft my jewelry one piece at a time in the studio in the Lopatcong, New Jersey. All my pieces are entirely hand fabricated. Beginning with sterling silver sheet and wire, 14K-18K gold, I work with traditional techniques and tools to create my one-of-a-kind and limited edition jewelry pieces. I use precious and semi-precious gemstones, pearls and found objects in my work as well. To achieve the finish look I use textures and patina. "
Yanina is a member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen, Bucks County Craftsmen Guild, Gallery23 in Blairstown, NJ.
