Cloisonne Jewelry
“I am a native Pennsylvania artist who has been passionate about creating art jewelry for 27 years. I work primarily in fine silver precious metal clay, sterling silver, natural gemstones and enamels. While my technique has evolved and expanded over time, the one consistent factor has been incorporating vibrant color and texture in my work. I usually begin by designing a piece around a colorful semi-precious gemstone, or a vibrant Cloisonné focal that I’ve created. I also incorporate enamel with post-fired metal clay in the Champlevé pieces I create.
For inspiration, I often draw from my early career and life experiences, my cultural background, my travels in the US and abroad, and my natural surroundings. I enjoy creating jewelry that is Artful in composition, but wearable at the same time. I hold several certifications in precious metal clay, and am a juried member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen and the Bucks County Guild of Craftsmen. I am a member of the the Greater Philadelphia Metal Clay Guild, and the Enamelist Society. My work has been published multiple times in Handmade Business magazine, Art Jewelry Magazine, and was on the cover and in a feature article of Sunshine Artist Magazine.”
