BROOKE VANDERZEE
Jewelry & Fiber Arts
Brooke VanDerzee is a lifelong collector of forgotten and discarded treasures. She finds inspiration in vintage jewelry, postage stamps, lace, and other pieces of the past. Her work transforms these found objects into unique wearable art, combining materials such as resin, paper ephemera, vintage tins, and hand-cut copper to give forgotten treasures new life and tell their stories in unexpected ways.
She has been honored to have several of her designs featured in Jewelry Affaire, a publication of Stampington & Co., since 2012. The joy of discovering new possibilities in overlooked objects and experiencing that spark of inspiration when a new idea takes shape continues to fuel her creativity.
KATHY YVINSKAS
Painting
Kathy Yvinskas has been a member of Gallery 23 since 2006. Her work explores her personal vision of nature through drawings, watercolors, hand-colored prints, and mixed media collages. She holds an MFA from Northern Illinois University and has exhibited widely, with work featured on publication covers and included in the Anne Steele Marsh Print Collection at the Hunterdon Museum of Art, as well as private collections throughout the United States and Europe.
An avid gardener and herbalist, Katherine draws inspiration from the natural world. Her own chemical-free, artistically cultivated garden, celebrated for its rich colors and textures and its welcome to pollinators and birds, was featured on a private garden tour hosted by the Friends of the Frelinghuysen Arboretum.
YANINA SIANI
Jewelry
Yanina Siani was born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine. She earned a Fine Arts Diploma from Shevchenko State Art School, where she developed her passion for metalsmithing and jewelry making. Now working from her studio in Lopatcong, New Jersey, she handcrafts one-of-a-kind and limited-edition jewelry using traditional techniques and materials including sterling silver, 14K–18K gold, precious and semi-precious gemstones, pearls, and found objects. Through distinctive textures and patinas, she creates pieces that reflect her dedication to craftsmanship and individual design.
Yanina is a member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen, Bucks County Craftsmen Guild, and Gallery 23 in Blairstown, New Jersey.
