Claude Larson has been creating with fiber for most of her life and discovered art quilting in 1999, inspiring her to focus on creating original work. By combining her textile and stitching expertise with self-directed study of the elements of art, she expanded her practice to include fabric dyeing, improvisational composition, and mixed media. Her artistic journey naturally evolved into collage, acrylic painting, and mixed media, where she continues to explore the creative possibilities of each medium.
