Lori Heninger, PhD, is a glass artist and nonprofit executive. Her work focuses on the natural world, primarily sea creatures. Lori has been a lampworker for the past ten years and has shown her work at juried craft shows as well as individual sales events in Williams-Sonoma and through her on-line presence. Lori trained as a jeweler and made her living in the 1980s/90s making and selling jewelry and sculpture at juried retail and wholesale shows. She lives in rural western New Jersey with her husband, two dogs, a cat and six chickens. She has a daughter and one grandson. Lori graduated from Columbia University with a Masters in Social Work and from the City University Graduate Center with a PhD in Social Welfare.
