Candles and Knitted Shawls

kate Current

Soy candles are candles made from soy wax, which is a processed form of soybean oil. Soy candles distribute fragrances and scents slightly less than paraffin candles. The low melting point translates to cooler burning longer lasting candles in temperate areas

Wooden wicks are thin slabs or tubes of wood crafted precisely for candle making. A short, wide wick is made from organic wood. After the wick is lit, it emanates a crackling sound that mimics the crackling of wood in a fireplace. Wooden wick candles have a reputation for burning cleaner than many other candles. They produce a natural smell and do not introduce additional smoke into your living space, that is, if they are used properly. When they are burned correctly, they can last for a very long time and burn without wasting wax.

All fragrance oils used for making the candles are made in the USA. Each candle jar is made from 100% recycled glass.

Kate (Ekaterina) became interested in knitting when she was a teenager. Over the years a little hobby has grown into a lifelong passion for intricate designs and fine yarns. In her work Kate uses only high quality fine yarns made with natural fibers such as wool, alpaca, silk, kidmohair etc. Her shawls  are very elegant, light, airy like a cloud and soft even to sensitive skin yet warm and cozy.
